Head of Fine Art & Specie, London
Danny joined Markel in May 2026 and heads up our London Market Fine Art and Specie team.
He has 15 years' experience in the market, previously holding roles at QBE, Aspen and Talbot.
Danny is responsible for leading the strategic expansion of our London Fine Art & Specie portfolio, identifying, assessing and underwriting complex risks for brokers and clients across four key areas – Fine Art, Specie, Jewellers Block and Cash in Transit.
He also works closely with Markel’s Claims and Actuarial functions to ensure coverage remains tailored for broker partners and insureds and identifies collaborative opportunities across our international Fine Art & Specie teams to enhance broker service levels and drive further profitable growth.
