Head of Erection All Risk, Construction
Keely joined Markel in November 2025 as Head of Erection All Risk in our Construction & Engineering team.
She brings over ten years’ experience in construction and operational power underwriting, having previously held the position of Senior Underwriter at Axis, where she was recognised as a market leader in the Erection All Risks (EAR) sector.
Keely began her career over 25 years ago as a broker and has worked at a number of the leading brokers.
At Markel, Keely is responsible for the development of the new EAR product offering, underwriting a diverse portfolio and driving long-term sustainable growth. She is also responsible for fostering new broker and client relationships and collaborating with her team to deliver innovative risk management services tailored to the evolving needs of construction clients.
Keely holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Birmingham. Outside of work, she is an enthusiastic rugby fan and enjoys attending live matches. She lives in Hertfordshire with her husband and their miniature Dachshund, Norma.
