Lan Pham joined Markel in June 2024 as a Senior Underwriter in our Australia Professional & Financial Risks (PFR) team. She began her underwriting career with Chubb Vietnam, later moving to Chubb Singapore in 2016 and then to Chubb Australia in 2019. Most recently, Lan was a Senior Financial Lines Underwriter at QBE Australia. With over 13 years of experience across Asia and Australia, Lan specialises in Financial Institutions, D&O and Crime. At Markel, she is responsible for the launch and profitable development of the Financial Institutions portfolio in Australia, while also contributing to the execution of Markel’s broader strategic initiatives.
Lan holds a Master of Commerce in Finance from Macquarie University and a Bachelor of Finance from Kyiv National Economic University.
Based in Melbourne, Lan enjoys pilates, gardening, travelling, cooking and discovering new foods.
