Michael Resnikoff

Michael Resnikoff joined Markel in January 2024 as a Senior Underwriter for Markel Australia. Michael has 25 years of experience within the insurance industry in Australia and Asia Pacific in both underwriting and leadership roles. Michael is a leading casualty underwriter with strong expertise in underwriting strategy.

Michael is helping to establish Markel as a leader in casualty underwriting in Australia by developing a diversified portfolio of business and building strong broker relatonships. He regularly attends insurance industry functions and contributes thought leadership content.

Michael holds a Masters degree in Business and Bachelors degree in International Business. He lives in Sydney and has two children. As is the Australian way, Michael and his family enjoy a range of outdoor pursuits, sports and dining out. Michael’s favourite sports are Rugby Union and Rugby League.
