Nicola Marriage

Nicola Marriage joined Markel in January 2016 as Head of Political Risk in our TCPRS division. Nicola began her career as a graduate at Euler in 2000 and later held underwriting roles at Coface and CIFS. In 2008, Nicola joined Novae as a class underwriter in their Political Risk team, where she developed a wealth of experience and market contacts, before joining Markel in 2016 to establish and lead their Political Risk team. Nicola has responsibility for all Political Risk business written globally. This involves the underwriting of new business through her established broker networks, as well as the servicing of existing clients. Nicola also has responsibility for managing the London team as well as referrals from other branch offices.

Nicola holds a BA (Hons) in Geography from the University of Birmingham, and the ACII.

Nicola lives in Essex with her husband and son. She is a keen runner and gym go-er.
