Rachel joined Markel in December 2015 as a Senior Claims Adjuster in the PFR and Cyber claims team. She is currently the Claims Manager for Management Liability and Emerging Risks, specialising in Cyber, Tech PI, Media, Intellectual Property, D&O, W&I and Entertainment. The team handles matters in all jurisdictions on the open market, on binders and on primary and excess layers.
Before joining Markel, Rachel worked as a Senior Claims Adjuster in the Financial Lines claims team at AIG for over three years, specialising in PI, Media, Tech PI and Cyber, and went on to manage that team.
Rachel is an English-qualified solicitor and has been on the Law Society roll since 2009. She previously worked in the insurance litigation departments of two large international law firms, CMS Cameron McKenna and RPC.
She holds a first-class LLB degree from the London School of Economics and Political Science and currently lives in London with her family.
