Interim Director of Terrorism, London
Tim Woodhouse joined Markel in November 2023 as a Senior Underwriter in our Terrorism team. Tim has more than 25 years of experience in the London market, underwriting and building portfolios of terrorism business, before briefly working at the Howden Group and then moving to Markel.
He works as a Senior Underwriter within the team, focusing on growing the portfolio, building relationships with key brokers and leading the terrorism cancellation element of the book. He is ACII qualified and holds a BSc (Hons) in Economics from Oxford Brookes University.
Tim lives in Surrey with his wife and three sons. When he gets time, he enjoys tennis and running.
