About April
April Hardeman combines her lifelong passion for horses with professional expertise in marketing, media, and equestrian sport. She works remotely for Kimes Ranch Jeans as an E-commerce Marketing Strategist and also runs Make It Rein, where she supports horse businesses with their digital presence. Alongside her professional work, April is deeply involved in the equestrian community as a competitor, steward, groom, and media contributor.
Her equestrian journey spans both English and Western disciplines, including Reining, Ranch Riding, Dressage, Western Dressage, Combined Driving, and more. April currently competes in Western Dressage and Ranch Riding events with her APHA gelding and also has goals to compete with her AQHA cowhorse mare in the future. She also co-founded the Western Dressage Georgia Chapter, where she continues to assist with the website today.
As an FEI 1* Driving Steward and experienced Scorer, April officiates at FEI, USEF, and ADS driving competitions each year. She has assisted USEF with integrating their entry systems with scoring programs and currently serves on the Media Board of the Florida Whips Driving Association. Internationally, she has represented the United States as a Groom at the 2019 and 2023 FEI World Driving Championships for Ponies with Mary Phelps and the Flying Gangsters, served as Steward at the 2025 FEI World Driving Championships for Pairs in Beekbergen, Netherlands, and worked on scoring at the prestigious Royal Windsor Horse Show in Great Britain.
