About Jonelle

Jonelle grew up on a horse farm on Long Island, NY, where she competed on the local and national show hunter and equitation circuits. She is a 40+ year USEF member, and has been running her own private hunter, jumper and equitation training business in Northern Virginia since 1993. Jonelle prides herself on creating sound, fit, happy horses, and educated riders and horsemen, in conjunction with vets, blacksmiths and an array of other equine specialists.

Jonelle has a degree in Business Management and Marketing from Cornell University, and has trained numerous National and Zone finals champions in hunters and equitation. She has herself shown in National and International Hunter Derbies, has piloted International Hunter Futurity Champions, has secured NCAA Division I riding scholarships for working students at Texas A&M University, and has handled placement of client horses for donation to reputable colleges and high school riding programs. In addition to her equestrian experience, she serves as Board Member and Sponsorship Coordinator on several horse show and equine association boards, and is a parent to two college children. She looks forward to working with equine owners to insure their equine partners and livelihoods.
